Cultivating Ealing (formerly Ealing in Bloom), founded in March 2019, champions horticulture and biodiversity‑friendly gardening across the London Borough of Ealing. Through initiatives such as the Ealing Biodiversity Awards for Gardens & Green Spaces, we inspire residents, businesses, schools, and community groups to grow greener — embracing sustainable gardening practices that boost biodiversity, strengthen communities, and improve wellbeing across the borough.

We are excited to launch this year’s competition, inviting gardeners of all experience levels to celebrate the power of nature in our urban environment. Whether you tend a balcony bursting with pollinator‑friendly plants, a school garden buzzing with life or a community garden or street that brings neighbours together, we want to see how you’re helping Ealing flourish.
